APLA Perth Branch is conveniently located for Perth Members and now meets in the WA LAPIDARY AND ROCKHUNTING CLUB.  31-35 GLADSTONE ROAD, RIVERVALE WA

Every meeting has a guest speaker coming along to support and help members with all sorts of subjects. For Example, Recent speakers have discussed Geomap, Metal Detecting, how to peg land, Safety in the Bush, Department of Mines speakers.

Annual Bush Camp - 2019

Perth Branch also runs a yearly bush camp where members can go metal detecting and learn aspects of Prospecting in a practical way such as panning, metal detecting, Geomap Application with GPS, loaming, geology from experienced members. Numbers are limited for management purposes. This will be held in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting in Leonora. Further advice will be provided to members at the Branch Meetings.

Annual APLA Open Day -  November 2019

Perth Branch Holds an Open Day around November or December for members of the public to understand the basic rules and skills of prospecting and to promote APLA.

Benefits of becoming an APLA member.

Becoming a member of APLA has many advantages.The Key benefit is that APLA fights for Members,  ALL Prospectors and  ALL Leaseholder's rights at Forums like the Resource Industry Consultative Committee (Formerly - Mining Industry Liason Council) and by representation to Government Departments and Political Bodies.
